What Are LED Wall Pack Lights?
LED wall pack lights are exterior-mounted fixtures designed to illuminate building perimeters, loading docks, parking garages, entryways, and walkways. They mount directly to exterior walls and provide security lighting, wayfinding illumination, and dark-sky compliant area lighting for commercial properties. LIBULBS wall packs range from 20W to 150W with full-cutoff and semi-cutoff optics, IP65 weatherproofing, and field-selectable CCT. All models are DLC listed and eligible for utility rebates. Integrated photocell options enable automatic dusk-to-dawn operation without external timers or controls, reducing both energy use and maintenance overhead.
Key Features
- Full cutoff and semi-cutoff options — meet dark-sky ordinances and reduce light trespass
- IP65 rated — sealed against rain, snow, and dust
- Integrated photocell — dusk-to-dawn automatic operation
- Field-selectable wattage and CCT — one SKU covers multiple project specs
- DLC listed — qualifies for commercial utility rebates
Ideal Applications
Mount LIBULBS wall packs on commercial buildings, retail storefronts, parking structures, stairwell exteriors, loading docks, and industrial facilities. For larger area coverage, pair with LED pole lights or flood lights.
Frequently Asked Questions
What wattage wall pack do I need?
For standard building perimeter lighting at 8-12 foot mounting height, 30-50W provides adequate coverage. Loading docks and high-security areas may require 80-150W for increased foot-candle levels.
What is the difference between full cutoff and semi-cutoff wall packs?
Full cutoff wall packs direct all light downward, eliminating uplight and meeting dark-sky regulations. Semi-cutoff allows a small amount of uplight for aesthetic wall washing. Most municipalities now require full cutoff for new construction.
