What Are LED Pole Lights?
LED pole lights, also called shoebox area lights, are fixtures mounted on poles to illuminate parking lots, roadways, pathways, and commercial properties. Named for their rectangular housing shape, shoebox fixtures provide Type III, IV, or V light distribution patterns engineered for specific mounting heights and spacing requirements.
