For Electricians

Anything can be designed better. Electricians know where to start.

The best lighting ideas come from the people who install it. Bring us the design that would make installation faster, safer or more reliable. If we choose to pursue an idea, we’ll contact you to discuss working together, under a new brand built around you or under your own.

How It Works

From the job site to the shelf.

01

Share the problem

Tell us the fixture or part and what you’d design differently to make installation faster, safer or more reliable. A few sentences is enough to start.

02

Prototype together

Our R&D works at the component level: LEDs and optics, drivers, sensing and fixture design. We build the prototype with you and test it where it matters.

03

Launch it

We bring it to market through electrical distributors, under a new brand built around you or under your own brand.

Every practical first starts with someone saying “there has to be a better way.”

Ideas we’ve already brought to the trade
First Backlit PanelWe designed and sold the first one in 2019, starting on a train to Xiamen. When others copied it, we added an extendable junction box that saves 5–10 minutes on every install and leaves more room for safer connections.
Behind-the-Lens SensorFor backlit panels and troffers. Occupancy sensors don’t monitor people, but a visible sensor on the fixture face can still make occupants uneasy and become a hurdle on large jobs. Placing it behind the lens keeps the face clean and removes that hurdle.
AUX SensorDesigned with Haisen. AUX Sensors are easy to install, remove and replace, saving 5–10 minutes on every install.
Multi-Wattage FixturesOne fixture, several outputs. Fewer SKUs and more efficient distribution, with better material efficiency and lower waste, shipping and warehousing costs.
Submit Your Idea

Tell us what you’d change.

No drawings or specs needed. Describe your idea the way you’d explain it to another electrician.

  • We review submissions as part of our R&D process.
  • If we choose to pursue an idea, we’ll contact you to discuss working together.
  • Any partnership is set out in a separate written agreement.
Tell us the fixture or part, and what you would design differently to make installation faster, safer or more reliable.

Please don’t include confidential or patented details in your first submission. Share the general concept, and we’ll discuss specifics under a written agreement.
